Yummy! Learned this from my Amish neighbor and it’s heavenly!
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
12 lasagna noodles
2 cups sour cream
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
12 lasagna noodles
2 cups sour cream
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce.
Layer 4 noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the sour cream over the noodles.
Sprinkle with one-third of the mozzarella cheese and one-third of the Parmesan cheese.
Repeat the layers, ending with the remaining meat sauce and cheeses on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Let the lasagna sit for about 10 minutes before serving to allow it to set.
