This “crack” casserole is one that never fails!

– 1 (30-ounce) package of frozen hashbrowns, thawed
– 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
– 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup sour cream
– 1 (1 oz) package ranch dressing mix
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 1 1/2 cups cooked bacon, crumbled
– 1/2 cup chopped green onions
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
– Chopped fresh chives for garnishing
